CaRiMi, an Exceptional Haitian Musical Band

After leaving their homeland Carlo Vieux, Richard Cavé, and Mickael Guirand joined forces and branded their group CaRiMi; derived from the first two letters of each of their first names.

They worked together in Haiti about 10 years ago before a great reunion in New York. Carlo Vieux, Richard Cavé, and Mickael Guirand are great friends and musicians from Haiti who have purposed to make music their lifetime career.

The trio took time in studio preparing beats and new sounds that had never been aired in Haiti. After several months they came out with new lyrics focusing on the social and political problems of Haiti. The song titled "Ayiti Bang, Bang" was released in 2001. That summer the group became famous in their motherland being the first young bands to sing about the insecurity and political problems of Haiti.

There music addressed the Diaspora who had fled out of their country. Their band is exceptional with enticing lyrics, pleasing music and it's attractive to female audiences. These factors have helped them thrive and attain great attention from the international music community. They have received several accolades from international music arena. They have won titles like Best Album of the Year. CaRiMi has been on top of the music charts in Haiti and beyond. They have been recognized in Paris, Guadeloupe, Guyanne Francaise, Canada and Europe.
