Jean-Claude Eugene the Vocalist and Actor

Jean-Claude Eugene founded the group ACNDA, which featured young musicians and vocalists from various secondary schools in Cap Haitien. These included; Le Torrent, La riviere rouge, L'Avare, Coulou. Bourgeois Gentilhomme and also Gouverneurs de la Rosee.
In 1974, he moved to the USA and managed to graduate from Pace University with an Economics major. He did not stop there but went on with studies in Economics, International Finance and Banking.
So far, Jean-Claude Eugene has 5 recorded albums: In 1980 he produced Aveu, Cecilia came in 1984, Rete La in 1988, Chante in 1994 and lastly in 2001 he recorded Emotions. He performed in popular stages around North America like The Brooklyn Academy of Music, Carnegie Hall, Place des Arts, Lincoln Center and Place des Arts.
Jean-Claude Eugene is also the artistic director and founder of "Theatre Mapou de Washington". He founded it in the year 2000along with other talented actors found around the Metropolitan area of Colombia. He took part in various musicals like "The Treasure of Toussaint Louverture" which took part in Carnegie Hall and also "How Papa Noel forgot Haiti" which was at Lincoln Center.
He became passionate in theater and after studying it successfully, had the chance to take on many lead characters. This was for different plays in both French and Haitian. With everything around him, including his family, Eugene is a very busy man.
