Being a musician, poet, artist in painting, writer and comedian, Francky Vincent has multiples talents which have made him unique of his type. His music "zouks" on evil Caribbean rythmes, and his malignant lyrics bring us an undeniable good mood. Born on April 18th 1956 in Pointe-a-Pitre Guadeloupe, Francky Vincent develops a passion toward music at the age of 18 and becomes part of a music band as a percussionist at first, then singer as a career. Being a true vocation, he continues his music in the Antilles for 17 years, then in 1992 settles in France to meet success with "Fruit de la passion" and Alice ça glisse" in 1995.

Emeline Michel - Pa Gen Manti Nan Sa

Born in Gonaives, Haiti, her first experience in music was singing gospel music at the local church. After completing her education, Emeline accepted an opportunity to study at the Detroit Jazz Center and returned to Haiti as a professional musician. She has recorded and appeared on concert stages throughout the Caribbean, Europe, North & South America, and Africa for the past 15 years, singing both in French and Haitian Creole.

Zekle of Joel Widmaier and Mushi Widmaier

In the summer of 1981, Joel Widmaier and Mushi Widmaier created the upper class band Zekle in P-Au-P, Haiti. Some of the original musicians were Raoul Denis, Claude Marcelin, William Jean and D.T Richard. Zekle released several hit albums including "Pil ou Fas", "Stop" and "Repond Mwen". Throughout their career the group traveled internationally performing with other instrumental bands. In late 1988 the band broke.

Some of the best from Skah Shah number One

The musical band Skah Shah #1 was founded in 1974 with famous Haitian artist like Jean Michel Saint Victor AKA Zouzoul, Jean Elie Telfort AKA Cubano and Loubert Chancy. The group Shak Shah #1 recorded its first album in 1974. Their hit singles at the time included "Haiti", "Caroline", "Sentiment", "Ozanana", "Macho man",and "Bel Ti machande" to name a few. Skah Shah went on to record more than ten albums before they broke up in the early 1990's. The band regrouped recently and produced this hit song " lague jazz ", selected as the Music Video of the week:

Carnival Season in Haiti

It's time once again for Carnival in Haiti. This is a special time of the year for Haitians.

Krezi Mizik is the creation of two well-known musicians in the Haitian Music Industry, David Dupoux, former maestro and co-founder of Konpa Kreyol, and Michael Benjamin better known by his nickname, Mika, and for his solo career made popular with the hit, Ou Pati. To complete the formation, they enlisted the services of four other talented musicians: Serge Laguerre, on the bongos; Mezifils, on the guitar; Jean Rene Ti Bass Saidnrald, on the bass; and Roosevelt Jean Noel on the drums.

The music video from Gracia Delva

The Haitian artist Gracia Delva was born in November 20,1973 at Marchand Dessalinnes (Artibonite), Haiti. He made his beginnings within the young musical formation Gerostar. Gracia thereafter integrated Djakout Mizik of which it made the beautiful days as well with the Field of Mars (Champs De Mars, Haiti) as on Eastern Parkway for the carnival of Labor Day in New York.

When Gracia Delva went to Zenglen, they had some great success and thereafter; because of certain problems with the American Immigration & Naturalization Services, Gracia had to leave the USA to be re-established in Haiti.
