Artist Sherlee SKAI loves to write her own songs because the lyrics and melodies come to her naturally, but relies on her producer Poppy Duverne for their musical arrangements. She carries a sound in her mind and Poppy Duverne brings it into life by translating her melodies on the track. She first wrote her song in her childhood when she used to sing in the church because, she was bored with the songs written by the boys. Her career took a decisive turn in 2006; she became indispensable in all musical events of the Capital.
