Pawol Daki - Orchestre Tropicana d'Haiti - Carnaval 2015

The Haitian Carnival presents differently from those in other places. For example, it is influenced heavily by the music of the country as well as the custom of Vodou. Thick with floats, lively kompa music, Haitian food, dancing and the dress requisite of not only carnival revellers, but staples of the popular pagan religion, the Haitian Carnival is an attraction of its own, not just for locals, but for tourists.
