Zouk - Shabba - Jou A La -
Shabba, the all around Haitian musician is now involved in a new style of music. If you notice, this song is not Kompa music. It appears that Shabba is in the process of exploring new avenue in the Zouk.
This fast tempo, Carnival style is very appreciated in the presentation by Shabba in this new music Video. As a Caribbean style of music, it is totally acceptable to have Haitian musicians to embark in full force in it, and Shabba did not take time to realize its potential
However, credit needs to be given to the country where it originated from whic is the Caribbean islands of Guadeloupe and Martinique. Also large credit needs to be given to a band such as French Antilles Kassav in the 1980's that actually created an international audience to this unique Caribbean music style
