Kase Sou Do - Septentrional - Kanaval 2015

This year's carnival celebration in Haiti may not be the first for its leader, President Michel Martelly, but it might be the last. Having declared himself the president of Kompa music, a play on the fact he is both the president of the country and was once a noted musician, he was very much pleased at the success of his past efforts to make carnival special in the country. The festival of a few years ago saw the development of brand new buildings to accommodate tourists, all as part of the plan revitalize the country's stifling economy.
