The musical group Malavoi is a Martinican band. It is made of many great and reputable musicians from the Caribbean, including of Mano Césaire, Jean-Paul Soïme, Christian de Negri, Denis Dantin, and Marcel Rémion. Later on, the band added saxophonist Bib Monville and pianist Paulo Rosine, who became the band's leader.
Malavoi's fame came after the release of their album in 1983 Zouel, featuring Thamar on vocals along with Marie-José Alie.
