Missile 747 is a Kompa music group from Quebec, Canada, which was founded in the late 1980's by the name "Southern in". Its lead singer Dieudonne Larose left the group in 1992 to join "Supersonic 747", but came back in 1994. In 2001, Larose started his own solo career and toured extensively, especially in the countries with a lot of Haitian diaspora, like New York, Montreal, Miami, Boston, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Paris, Guadeloupe, the Martinique and Haiti. Since 2007, there was a rumor that the group could be reborn. On August 27, 2015, Dieudonne Larose was honored by Lambi Night Club and received an Honor and Merit plaque for his contribution in Haitian music. He skillfully mixes love and politics in his songs. The new album of Larose is "DEMOCRATIE - Larose Missile 747".
