Here is the leader in the Haitian Kompa music, System Band: Manman Montre'm Papa'm and Dom'm Lage

Kompa music, which has its origins in Meringue, began in the 1800s as a child of Haiti's African and European roots, it became highly popular in the middle of the '50s in Haiti. Its typical instrumentation includes a horn section, drums (including congas), bass, keyboard, guitars, synthesizers and even a cowbell. The genre, which is excessively popular around the world, is sometimes confused with zouk. Kompa excelled in popularity due to its language adaptability (being sung easily in a host of languages), its improvisational capacity, and the catchy two-step dance style that came along with its 1950's revival.

Owning their own corner of this lucrative market, System Band has released over twenty Kompa albums since their start. The original members still active in the band today include Reginald Benjamin, Lucien Ceran, Ernst "Tines" Vincent, Martial Bigaud, Ronald Smith and Isnard Douby. Gone but not forgotten is its former percussionist and vocalist, Fritz Bernard Frederic, who died in February 2007. Its newest members include Dabenz Chery, James Douze, Wins Delmas and David Rizza.
