Mozayik at Stamford Center for the Arts
Here is once again Mozayik Live at Stamford Center for the Arts.
While Mozayik didn't create the sound they have out of nothing, as Gashford Guillaume, drummer stated, they do hope to broaden the audience for it. According to Brian Torff, a music professor at Fairfield University, who has likened their endeavor to that of Dizzy Gillespie, Mozayik is the modern sound for the Afro-Caribbean style of jazz that took off in the 1940's.
