Jacques Sauveur Jean started his music career in Cap-Haitian.

After releasing several hit songs, he changed his name to Jakito in the album "Jakito and the Band".

Jakito released many music albums over the years.

All of these albums received positive feedbacks from the Kompa lover fans. The song that receives the most success was " Je L'aime a Mourir" an interpretation from a famous French artist.

Jakito has performed in some of the most famous places, for Haitians living in Haiti as well as overseas.
